OMG! I am a genius! Well not really but I came up with another idea on how to get more traffic…

I was going to make a longer post on this but since you linked to me :-)

    the method:

Find posts like this and see who respond to the link love and visit their site. Now find a good post on their blog and link to them (you will VERY LIKELY get comments and another loyal visitor because you know they have responded positively to a post like this)

    What do you think?
Sometime I think I am a little too obsess with getting traffic and comments from the “right” blogs that I forget to explore more blogs that doesn’t link to you or even care.

  • Karthik, September 30, 2007

Yes, this is a very novel way that I’ve come across, used by both Steven here and at Bluejar. I’d just mentioned it on the previous link love thread that I would be doing the same if Steven didn’t mind (I noticed this first here and then at Bluejar) and I’m just about to make that post right now.

    Thanks as always!
Hope you get a whole lot of new readers!

  • WarriorBlog, September 30, 2007

@ Karthik: I came up with the idea myself though so I don’t need to ask Steve for permission. I REALLY DID! upon noticing all these thank you comment.

  • Tibi Puiu, September 30, 2007

Many thanks for the links, your effort will be rewarded my friend :D

  • Vandelay Design, September 30, 2007

You’re right, if readers thank others for a link they’re likely to thank you as well. Good luck.

    Karthik and Tibi,
You’re Welcome. Thanks for all of your comments.

Thanks for the link love. The man who is repairing my computer never got it completely fixed last time it was broken and I took it to him. He’s had it for weeks now and still isn’t done. It’s just so irritating, and my blog has been suffering extremely. Anyway, I hope your weekend was good. Thanks again; I’d better leave you… I have a lot of catching up to do. :)

  • Vandelay Design, October 2, 2007

You’re welcome Tay. Sorry to hear that your computer still isn’t fixed. Hopefully it will be soon.

  • Karen Zara, October 5, 2007

Thank you very, very much for another free link. And sorry for not having thanked you earlier. Shame on me! This is what happens when you spend a few days away from your feed reader… *embarrassed*
