With this free theme your organization can easily set up a website to communicate with volunteers, donors, and those who need your services or programs. The homepage slider can be easily customized from the WordPress dashboard. The theme uses WordPress’s custom navigation menus for both the header and the footer, so you can include any links that you want in your menus. The header menu supports drop downs.

Hello! this is a simple, yet elegant theme.
What I am curios to know is whether i can change the background to gray or something lighter? I looked at the other alternative colors and they won’t do at all. Here is the link to our site: http://allianceforcreativeexpression.org/

Hi Nica,
No, this theme doesn’t come in a light color scheme. You can edit the color scheme by changing the code in the theme if you are comfortable doing that. Another option, we have a different theme for non-profit organizations with a light background. See the Simple Non-Profit Theme.
I can’t get the slider to work. an image shows for a second, then nothing.
