Epicenter Church in Fayetteville (http://www.yourepicenter.com) has used that in their design as well as several larger images to push people to certain areas. I also think its important that churches use their congregations for ideas as well looking into finding a local marketing firm that understands their needs to increase their numbers. Makes me kinda depressed as the one I developed from a template is BORING. If you want to check it out, visit http://www.calvaryperham.com. At least I've been able to add a few interesting features such as a virtual tour, lots of video and photos, calendar, sign up forms, etc. But I want to update the look. I think next time I will have a database driven site so it's easier to change the look without rebuilding the whole thing. Fortunately for me my brother is a computer programmer so I've some help with that :-) These sites really get your attention.
