Published August 2nd, 2007 in Marketing, SEO

Aaron,
Thanks for visiting and for bookmarking!

Jon Miller (Marketo) August 3rd, 2007

Thanks for including Marketo! Just one small correction: We include one user for free, so the $49 / user charge only applies if you have multiple users in your organization.

Jon,
Sorry for the mistake. I’ve made a correction. Thanks for visiting!

Marcin August 8th, 2007

First of all, thanks for including my little bookmarklet in this great resource :-) .

I’ve noticed though that there is a mistake in the price for Keyword Discovery – you say it’s $49.95 per year, whereas it is in fact either $599 per year or $69 per month.

Vandelay Design August 8th, 2007

Marcin,
Thanks, I made the change. Thanks also for the link back to this post.

Thanks for the great links. I am just beginning to learn about SEO and all of the info out there is overwhelming.

Great list!
Thanks a lot for this work!

Just a little question: which of these tools you’re using for your blog?

Charleston S August 25th, 2007

Vandelay Design October 21st, 2007

Cool. I’m glad you were able to find this through a search.

Brady Freeman November 8th, 2007

I use google trends all the time http://www.google.com/trends

This can display search queries based on a 3 year time frame and you can see if the term is gaining in popularity or decreasing. You can also find if a term has certain seasonal popularity like fitness equipment or gardening.

Vandelay Design November 8th, 2007

Brady,
You’re right, it’s a good tool. Thanks for the addition.

Joshua Wexelbaum November 12th, 2007

I’ve spent a lot of money on keyword research tools, and so recently I put together an affiliate website which compares the tools.

I interviewed several of the designers of the keyword tools in order to get accurate information, along with my own research:

Thanks.

Joshua,
Looks goo. Thanks for sharing.

Hi:

My current site never reflected my personality and the communication with designers – well, they weren’t creative enough, – just check out the website and see how boring and non-dynamic it is.

I need a web design that uses Flash – Dynamic Flash so there is movement and weekly new shot clips posted and about 6 other short clips and an archival system so people can order and pay donation for (paypal) the full dvd of the short (which will have a description written about it.)

Thank you so ,much, awaiting yur reply.

Aeliot

Pls reply (i didn’t see any movement in your profiles – and is you use flash & Dyna-flash.) Thank you very much.

Did you try to compare results across various tools? I’m a little bit puzzled because I’ve just subscribed with WordZe and for certain searches the results differ significantly from the ones obtained with Wordtracker’s free version.

Jon March 6th, 2008

Nice list. I’m currently developing my own keyword tool, and have looked at many of those listed above for ideas.

Hopefully my own tool will make it onto the list one day!

Here is a free keyword tool:

KWAN

It searches the webpage and gets 100% revelant kwywords.

Free Rigntones April 14th, 2008

I don’t understand how you can say IBP is free … its not free … I think its ok! 9 out of 10 times the emails it gets for you are bad emails. They are all suggestions. It chews up the resources like there is no tomorrow and then you have to try to do it all over again. I think its ridiculous. Why do I need to feed it the competitor list? It should go and get the top 100 or 200 competitors and get its backlinks. There are other tools out there that are much much faster!
