My tell tale signs would be advanced features that could not be automated (like customized dashboard options for WP themes as one example), commented code, and following specific instructions. I actually used your review of WPCoder to help me select them and now I am out $400 and a project is woefully late. They might have been good when you reviewed them but now it's a scam. Please let others know. See below... WPCoder and Michael Castilla, the president and ONLY employee (he fired all developers, owing some of them thousands of dollars), is no longer a real wordpress development site. It's now being used as scam for MIchael Castilla to steal money. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY. He told us our theme would be done by a certain day and remained very responsive and in contact, but the day the files were due - NOTHING. I am assuming just enough time for the paypal deposit to go through. I tried 4 or 5 times to contact him for a status. Finally, I requested another quote under a fake name and he immediately responded saying he had availability. We were referred to a former colleague of his from WPCoder and he told us Michael has been donig this since August 2009. He is stealing from people. Do not believe him. What he is doing is sickening.
