39 Beautiful Email Newsletter Templates
Published in MarketingEmail newsletters are an important marketing and communications tool for many businesses. You can stay in touch with past customers, market your products to those who have expressed interest but haven’t yet purchased, and get extra exposure for your sales and promotions. Email is an extremely cost effective marketing method and it is likely to produce a higher return on investment than any other type of marketing or advertising.
The appearance of your newsletter can be enhanced with an attractive design, but having a custom design isn’t the only option. Templates are available for newsletters, and many of them are provided by companies that manage mailing lists like MailChimp and Campaign Monitor. Those two providers market towards designers more than competitors like AWeber, so as a result they tend to have better quality and quantity of templates available.
Here is a look at some of the templates available.
AWeber:
We use AWeber to manage our own newsletter, and we recommend them as a great option. You can read our review of AWeber if you’re researching which mailing list manager to use. AWeber makes it easy to use any email template, regardless of whether it is one of theirs, one you have designed, or one you have purchased somewhere else.
MailChimp Templates:
These templates are free for use on paid accounts. Free accounts are limited to more basic templates. MailChimp has made design a big priority. Their user interface is very nicely designed and easy to use, and they’ve also made it a priority to offer these professional-quality templates to their paid users.
Campaign Monitor Templates:
Like MailChimp, Campaign Monitor also markets to designers, so naturally they have made it a priority to offer well-designed email templates. Campaign Monitor users can take advantage of a wide variety of templates, including the ones showcased below.
Premium Templates:
The templates in this section are not related to a particular mailing list manager, they are just general HTML templates. Some mailing list managers will require you to use some proprietary code in your templates in order for them to work with their system. If you are using one of these mailing list managers you will need to make some edits to the template. Other mailing list managers will allow you to just paste in the HTML of your email, so you can essentially use any HTML email template without needing to add their proprietary code snippets.

I really like the “Elegance” template, but it is only available in black, brown and green. What is the possibility of getting it in teal or blue?
Renate,
You would have to contact the designer or the website selling the template. We are not selling the templates shown here, it’s simply a blog post with links to available templates.

We’ve used both Mailchimp and Aweber, we have our main content handled by Aweber however for our convenience, but Mailchimp is very capable. Thanks for the article, great to have this kind of resource.
Now a days, email newsletter is one of the best ways to communicate with persons or company or agency. For that your design plays most important role. So attractive template gives more conversions or leads. In this blog, there are so many good templates which will work great for business.
Thanks for sharing these. I love templates that are eye catching and modern, just like Campaign Monitor’s Helevtica template and the Colour Direct template.
It’s hard to compete in crowded inboxes and these templates offer something different.
Thanks again!
