Showcase of Die Cut Business Cards

Published in Marketing

Last month we published a post that showcased letterpress business cards. Today we’d like to share another showcase, this time focusing on business cards that use die cuts to stand out. Die cut business cards allow for some creative ideas to become a reality, and these cards are certain to be noticed when they are handed out.

These are great! Business cards can be so boring, so it’s nice to see some that are out of the ordinary.

I like the heart cutouts. I heard hat you should not go with a non-standard shape because people are less likely to keep the card.

I had some business cards with a slash in them at a company I used to work at… the boss complained that the holes cost more than the cards. But he did have the grace to admit they were worth it!

I like these two, the Alien Foot and Optimum Fotography, but overall everything is better then the conventional one I see before.

Nice designs, a good way to be remembered even if your actual content or offer is poor.

Wow, some of these are awesome! I really like Antidote X and Lethal Dose 50. I couldn’t think of a better word than sexy. These are definitely attention grabbing. Definitely keeping these ideas in mind.

all the designs are great…. a perfect exhibit of creativity…. esp the Optimum Fotography 1… its just nice…. how online Search Engine and Social Media Optimization helps in attracting the traffic…. the same way in offline the business cards does the job of attracting the traffic..

Love the use of die cutting. As a printer that does die cutting in house it is fun to see the creativity used. We have actually had quite a bit of success doing die cutting with digital printing. Once you pay for the steel rule die it becomes more reasonable cost wise.

Die cutting is a supercool way to make business cards more attention grabbing. I’ve also started to see it used to make postcards stand out. Not sure why it’s so much more prevalent with business cards. Anyway, great collection!

These type of business cards really hard to print and that is why a few printers offering this type of business cards. They will make a big impression for sure.

Printing Services Dallas June 15th, 2013

I wish we offered die cutting. We target the traditional business cards but the creative side of me always wishes. lol I think the guitar pick shaped ones are killer. Some graphic designers are just inspirational.
