Do they not accept freelance work? As a publisher, I am a licensor of images, not a photographer or graphic artist. I am often frustrated in using these sites because most of the available images are highly commercial (apparently done for advertising clients), rather than natural scenes or ordinary settings more suitable to publishing needs. I have devoted hours trying to find stock images of a woman serving tea or a woman alone walking up a residential staircase. There is a market for non-commercial images that these sites lack.
