Hi Steven, great collection of links, even without my two articles. ;)
Thanks for that. Quite a few people didn’t appreciate my guest post on Smashing Magazine, so I’m glad you felt it worthy of a mention.

    Enjoy the weekend.

    Hi David,
I certainly didn’t see the article at Smashing Magazine as self promotion. You are a logo designer and the topic of the article is choosing a logo designer, so why would you not refer back to your own experiences? Would people rather have someone write about topics that they don’t know very well? Also, the criticism that was included was as polite as possible. Any type of criticism is hard and I can understand that because I wouldn’t be too eager to take criticism myself. I thought the topic was relevant to web designers. I know many designers do both the coding of the site and the logo, but not all. I’m far from a logo expert, so if I had a really big project that called for a 1st rate logo I would probably look to an expert.

    Thanks Steven,

I actually invite criticism on my work, as long as it’s constructive. It’s a great way to learn.

    Mohsin,

    Thanks very much!

Steven, you are one of the more generous bloggers out there with link love. Thanks for your kind gesture! I have also read some of the posts up there and they are really beneficial.

StumbleUpon Ads are great but the lack of service/communication/info from SU becomes frustrating after a while.
When you’re spending $500-$1,000 a month it would be good to be able to get a response to a question.
Out of 10 (reasonable) requests I’ve not had a single reply.
Cheap advertising - yes; but remember you get what you pay for.
