Henry Jones of Web Design Ledger, and formerly of Design Reviver, has recently launched a new site to showcase excellent business card designs. Card Observer is a gallery site that provides inspiration to designers and a platform for others to showcase their own work.

Here’s a business card inspiration site you may not be familiar with, called ‘it even has a watermark’:

What I like about this one is how the cards are categorised into sections, such as plastic, foiling, homemade etc.

Definitely worth a look.

Creative business cards like these are awesome, but very un-economical – can you imagine how much it costs to print these?

its not to often i bookmark a site from a blog post but the designs here are amazing, i just need to find a company that can do the punched out effect, i love it

I don’t think the extra cost of these business cards is worth it, simply because the fancy design still doesn’t convey how it benefits anybody else. Very nice to look at though.
