25 Examples of Three-Column Blog Designs
Published August 16th, 2009 in GalleriesWhen I re-designed this blog recently I decided to move from a three-column layout to just two columns because I felt that it made the layout cleaner and the content more readable. However, there are some well-designed blogs that make effective use of a three-column layout. In this post we’ll look at 25 examples. Some have the content in the middle with a sidebar on each side. Some have the content on the left with two columns of sidebars on the right. And others use some creative combinations.
Most of these blogs have been showcased at our gallery Blog Design Heroes.

Theses blog designs are very nice! My favourite is probably the Auston Town Hall design.
A lot of beautiful designs. I will save this for inspiration later on.
Great examples of 3 column designs, good variety.
As the screens get wider and resolution better, we’ll start to see more 3 column designs as well as four column designs pretty soon.
The Duirwaigh Studios design is simply gorgeous, possibly takes away from the content but nevertheless, good-lookin’.
