Showcase of Still Life Photography

Published in Galleries

In the past we’ve featured photography showcases of all kinds, including action photos. Today in this showcase we’re going in a different direction, showcasing still life photos. Still life photography can be quite amazing because of the photographer’s ability to turn an ordinary object into a beautiful photograph. The composition, lighting, and colors can serve as excellent sources of design inspiration.

Here is a look at 28 still life photos from various photographers.

The Antonio Diaz one with the garlic is brilliant. It almost looks like an oil painting.

I’d be interested to see how he achieved that style.

The baseball is my favorite. So much history and good memories in one picture :)

Photos by Jack Ambridge, Simone, Julia Che, Matt Hannon are the best. They are all good but these were better. Sorry if my taste is too fruity.

I agree with “the photographer’s ability to turn an ordinary object into a beautiful photograph.” Since i was child i really want to be a photographer but sad to say until now i didn’t reach my dream. But i know someday i would be the Best one. lol

Nice collection i really admire you talent like what i’m saying in your other collection.

Cheers!

thanks, it’s easily accessible and has lots of great ideas and tips. the first of my two favorite features are the pages where they will start with an item or a couple of items that serve as inspiration for a room, and then detail how the homeowner used those items to create a unique and well-styled space. The good, the bad, and the ugly of new year resolutions – welcome! Yes, each year we resolutely vow to improve our lives in some way, to make changes and to do what’s right. and each year we (most of us, anyway!) fail to keep our new year resolutions.
