Nice list!

Please check my last work for real state http://www.walimoveis.com

Matt May 7th, 2010

Some very nice work from a sector in desperate need of some very nice work.

Seriously, the level of creative in the real estate industry, for the most part, is just dog poop bad.

Great post!

e11world May 7th, 2010

I never put that much effort into designing sites like the above for clients because it seems that most of the are cheap lol.
I wish someone with big pockets comes along and gives me the opportunity to be more creative.
Nice post for inspiration!

Netventure May 7th, 2010

Excellent list, Good work

Sameir May 7th, 2010

Nice designs. Some of them are amazing.

Bryan May 7th, 2010

WoW!!! Some insane Design’s here. Good Work!

Bryan May 7th, 2010

Julio Fagundes – Your site seems a bit cramped not too good to be honest. Hate the way the page scrolls down. cant you use a different background image?

michael soriano May 7th, 2010

good list! ima need this soon!

Ed at Kliky May 7th, 2010

Nice list. I thought most of these real estate sites were plug-and-play, but you managed to dig up a fair number of indies. Thanks for the post.

STLrealtor May 7th, 2010

Some great designs here, I am wondering how good the results are for different designs. I’m sure clients are impressed when they get here though

Avish May 8th, 2010

Really these websites are great. But I want to know that is there any listings for financial websites.

Rob T May 8th, 2010

Thanx for the list… I think that Real Estate online will get much bigger within the next 10 years

Oyun May 8th, 2010

I like “Lanikai Properties” very simple and more attractive than others I think.

Hilde May 9th, 2010

Thanks for sharing this!
I especially love edgewater and lanikai.
Cool and different collection :)

Eric Di Bari May 10th, 2010

Great list of websites. These sites tend to have nice landscape-style pictures, which isn’t too surprising considering their industry.

Ted Rex May 10th, 2010

Great collection. Yet another industry with more talented work than I ever considered before.

I featured this page as one of my three links for the day on my Design Thought blog:
http://designthoughtfortheday.blogspot.com/2010/05/05-10-no-to-spec-work-real-estate-sites.html

All the best, Ted

Madison homes May 10th, 2010

Beautiful designs! A very nice collection indeed.

Julio Fagundes May 10th, 2010

@Bryan thanks for the comment.

I cant change, the image is particular from client and no exist in a bigger resolution.
about the space, the default resolution of visitors are 1024×768, 1280×1024.

Tom May 10th, 2010

I totally agree with Martt, this industry is few year behind, but i hope that with the real estate crisis, the interest in more creative work, will raise according with the budgets:)

Alex Labanino May 11th, 2010

I worked about a year ago for http://resionline.com/, and they do really nice work.

Lawrence May 11th, 2010

Some lovely designs. I particularly like the ‘Los Habitations Bouladier’ design. Thanks for sharing.

Robin Carlsson May 11th, 2010

Good to see the real estate branch following in on marketing with modern websites

Wonderful Collections… Especially I liked the homesatedgewater and Sandstone sites. Thanks for sharing.

Web designer May 12th, 2010

Wow – some really awesome work in this collection! Thanks for collating and sharing!

steak May 12th, 2010

You can check the site i made for a french real estate agency:
http://www.plumeauimmobilier.com

Hope you’ll like it!

Web Design Philippines May 13th, 2010

Pretty good collection.

This I worked for a Houston real estate agency: http://www.innerlooprealtors.com

Some good designs here. Some do look like pre-built templates however certain ones are bespoke and they look really nice.

BlueMist May 21st, 2010

@Julio Fagundes

When Bryan said “cramped”, I think he meant that you need more white space. There is too much going on and nowhere to rest the eyes. You can go vertically if you need to, but the various elements on the page need some separation.

New York Builders May 22nd, 2010

All the sites are good. I think the three column layouts work the best for presentaion and navigation of the real estate industry. Some of the sites have the images a little too much emphasized. The extra space would be better used with some banners to drive traffic to some of the deeper pages.

Avish May 24th, 2010

Here all sites are good, but I’ve a problem. I used a template named proofing for my blog but it was not brouser compatible. Would you please tell me why?

Avish,
You’d have to ask the designer of the template why it is not cross browser compatible. I am not familiar with the template.

Shovan May 25th, 2010

I was looking for some real estate inspiration thankss

Roch June 8th, 2010

How come I didn’t make the cut? haha

I will have to work on my website by closely having a look at these on the list and making adjustments. Thank you.

Maui Realtor June 27th, 2010

Great list. Only site not on your list (that should be) is Hawaii Life.

Real Estate Hanoi July 5th, 2010

What an inspiration! Lovely designs. This is an outstanding resource. Thanks so much for sharing. This is one of the best summaries I’ve seen.

Vlamir July 5th, 2010

Abhishek Shrestha July 15th, 2010

Yes.. great real estate website collections.. And thanks Vlamir very much….

ImmobilienTicino July 17th, 2010

Great list. Only site not on your list from Switzerland!!

Sleva July 27th, 2010

I agree with vlamir, the website from nepal, http://www.housingnepal.com is excellent. It must be one of the largest real estate portal with so many features in it

vibram August 12th, 2010

Thanks for sharing .
Recently,I also visit your website .
I thin I am become your old customer.. haha

Andrew Mooers September 26th, 2010

If the real estate site cookie cutter it is same old same old. If it is too busy, clunky, it can scare away the surfer not a black belt or that feels foolish, missing something. Minimalist, useful, powerful becomes more critical than pretty, showy, flashy.

Mark October 8th, 2010

Great collection. I’d like to share another one:

http://www.tricityhomes.com

Thanks!

Alex October 13th, 2010

Would you rate ours ?

Laguna Beach Realty October 15th, 2010

It seems as though lot of effort is made in collecting the information. The list presented is very impressive and helpful also. Keep up the good work.

inblues October 18th, 2010

can’t imagine the real estate site can be so attractive in design. thanks for sharing.

Frisco Real Estate October 21st, 2010

Nice designs I liked the real estate webmasters sites!

Allison Smith November 2nd, 2010

I agree, there aren’t many good examples of great real estate websites out there, but I think the best I’ve seen is the McDonald Group Realtors’ site (http://www.yourroadmaptohome.com/). They’ve got a really great blog that actually talks about things you want to read, like area events, neighborhood happenings, and local home-related news, and you can tell they care about things like sustainability and community. They also have great tips for restaurants in every local neighborhood. The design is important, yes, but the content matters too, especially with something as important as picking the person who will help you find a home.

Web design hull November 11th, 2010

This is really useful, most of our local estate agent sites are very boring… there are some really good examples of creative real estate designs here, thanks!

Jeff Kee November 30th, 2010

A lot of realtor sites are garbage, agreed. We are working on some cool projects…

http://www.michaellane.com
http://www.brocksmeaton.com

Trying to bring a new clean modern design into the realty sector, without cluttering with too much text all over the place!

racey December 22nd, 2010

I looove the colors on the Cantera Real Estate site. The Carlos German site is nice too!

Those are some great sites. I’ve been working hard on making my site half as attractive as some of those. Design is crucial but content is still king when it comes to real estate websites. Visitors want listing information, neighborhood information, etc.

Troy MLS January 19th, 2011

Great list of sites! I like the 4th one the best.

FSBO February 23rd, 2011

Wonderful piece of collection. I love the Lanikai properties specially the colors used for making the property more attractive. The designs and creative work like that can make the real estate industry grow once again. Thanks for sharing and keep up the nice work.

endsoftdesign March 28th, 2011

Good websites. Poplar Grove have a very nice color composition.

Ashok April 27th, 2011

Wow!!! wonderful collections of Real Estate Websites

Urviho May 12th, 2011

Nice inspiration :) You can check my design http://www.urviho.cz/index.php?menu=portfolio_vivareality

Pelletier Realty Group May 19th, 2011

Thank you for providing the inspiring designs. Quite a few were eye catching and the websites with the quick search boxes stand out more prominant.

Laguna Beach Real Estate August 5th, 2011

Great work! All these are very well done.. The design work is just A+

Thanks for putting this list together; really got some great ideas from them all.

Mark August 15th, 2011

Great post, and you’ve found some really interested real estate web sites. It’s difficult to stand out in a sea of real estate sites that all look the same, but everyone on this list does a good job of creating a great user experience and standing out without a load of flashing animation or bright colours.

Danj August 25th, 2011

Excellent post, currently working on a site for a investment company and Have seen some great inspiration!!! Thanks indeed.

SethRoberts September 28th, 2011

This is great. Thanks. Tho I think some other sites have stolen your list for their own “best of real estate” post.

dambovita October 4th, 2011

the sites are good, but most of them are on wordpress.
so the real estate companies don’t have money to make a custom solution?

Vandelay Website Design October 4th, 2011

dambovita,
Of the 27 sites showcased here only 2 are powered by WordPress (Lanikai Properties and Seibold Construction). If WordPress meets the needs of the website why create a custom CMS? Even if all of the sites on the list were powered by WordPress it still wouldn’t really be relevant to the post. The purpose of the post is to showcase the visual design of the site, which is independent of the CMS.

Mark Ciochon October 10th, 2011

Ok why didn’t I see this site earlier before I paid to have my site redesigned. I agree with Todd above content is king but professionally designed webpages set one Realtor apart from another. Great photos all over this site!

Murali October 19th, 2011

Wow! great resource, wonderful information. really useful, thanks for sharing.

Tracy Armengol December 12th, 2011

What a great way to break through the “web designer’s block” I was having in trying to create a new site for a realtor client.

Thanks for taking the time to put this collection together. These designs stand out, and really represent the real estate industry well.

Edwin January 25th, 2012

I really loved list of the best websites that you’ve shared here on your page, thanks for this amazing list.

Dan Yaroschevsky February 5th, 2012

Those are some nice templates. WordPress works well for SEO and you can collaborate which is even better. It’s all about the content.

Larry February 16th, 2012

Cool sites! I really like what the guys at http://www.greenvilleliving.com did.

Green Apple Studio February 25th, 2012

Great collection.

@dambovita,

What if most of them were on WP? Please explain why would you need something else if WP meets all your requirements? In fact, tell me what requirements WP can’t meet.

Jason July 17th, 2012

Any chance of a new post on this subject? So much has changed in two years. Real estate websites are now more robust, user friendly, and better looking.

I’d love to see a new post covering realtor websites that use only wordpress. And a post dedicated to custom built sites. Many real estate agents are embracing technology and find homes for sale has never been easier for home buyers.

Look forward to seeing a new post!

Steven Snell July 17th, 2012

Hi Jason,
Thanks for the feedback. A new post on the subject is something we will keep in mind.

Marc Rogers August 25th, 2012

I think the three column layouts work the best for presentaion and navigation of the real estate industry. Some of the sites have the images a little too much emphasized. The extra space would be better used with some banners to drive traffic to some of the deeper pages.

Agentia November 13th, 2012

This is a good pack of real estate websites, a source of inspiration for us. Nice job!

John March 18th, 2013

Great set of site! It’s hard to find good sites,
