The 2011 version of Soul of Athens uses the Supersized jQuery slider to present large images on their homepage: http://2011.soulofathens.com/our-dreams-are-different/

Nice creative use of Javascript sliders. As long as the navigation of the web site is easy to understand, and there is content, then using Javascript sliders can only add to a site.

Excellent showcase thanks. We have recently started to push the boundaries with how sliders can function too with sequential showcases. To see what I mean visit http://www.shellgraphix.com.au/graphic-design-and-website-design-portfolio.php

Brilliant collection. These examples really show that Javascript is really coming into it’s own and we are starting to see some of the “flash” like functionality coming through in accessible web design….

The best part of these are the clean and simple design and how they are easily navigated. Having sliders is fine as long as the user is the one still in control. Thanks for putting these together and letting us view them.
