In this post we’ll showcase 30 sites that show ecommerce can be done in an attractive manner. This post presents a variety of different design styles, as well as sites that are selling a variety of different types of products. Each manages to have an attractive design while still keeping the focus on the products, not allowing the design to overpower what is most important.

These look great but it would interesting to know what platform the shop was built upon, off the shelf web shop or custom shop.
Interesting post, nice to see this shortlist of good e-commerce websites. Clearly online shopping quality and experience is improved by using a lot of visuals. Most website on the list have them. Would be interesting to have the sitemaps in one view, to see how fast visitors are in the checkout fase.
These are all well done contemporary designs. I’d say that Satorisan seems to be pushing the design envelope the most however (when it comes to html, css, and large background images). These site designs still seem somewhat static on the frontend. Lookout for mimiboutique.com. This accessories site is integrating real-time social interaction on their homepage and throughout their interior pages.
It seems i’m the first to comment on this wonderful collection. Thank you for putting these together!
nice collection thanks for share realy nice a Custo Barcelona site
How is http://dibruno.com not on the list?!

This is an awesome list and while I like most of the shops, I absolutely love a couple (like Satorisan)
Horia,
Visual Freaks looks great, thanks for pointing it out.

ONEHOPEWine.com is built on Magento Enterprise. Design & engineering work performed by Guidance.com.
The Makr Carry Goods and Stella McCartney sites blew my mind.
Excellent collection, most of these look fantastic, as mentioned by someone above, it would be interesting to find out what platform has been used to create these sites. Would they have been custom built from the ground up?
Great collection! I like spunky bubs and poetrie.
Nice examples! Thanks for sharing…

Inspiration is always difficult to find, but these great examples set a high standard making sure we work even harder to get in the direction of a perfect website. Thanks for sharing, big fan of ur site.
More Inspirations.. More Idea
Love to see some results and BP’s from one of them, just to gain insight on their webdevelopment and learnings over time.
Very nice gallery with attractive online stores. Thanks!
Go PixelFusion. Not only does MumMade have a great design, it is also a great idea in general.
Custo Barcelona was done on Magento Enterprise. Design and development done by Gorilla
Very nice ecommerce websites. I wonder what platform that they use to create a beautiful site like that.
The http://www.bohemiadesign.co.uk website doesn’t always render the way you have shown it. If you visit the site from other countries many things change. The way language is handled, cart options, banners, prices, special offers, etc all change automagically. Try putting a ?gl=no at the end of the URL to tell the server you’re from Norway or ?gl=us to show you’re from the US or ?gl=jp. Even the way dress sizes are defined is different for different territories. The business has quickly grown to seven figure and over half the sales are export.
Some stunning sites here. Love the Bohemia site. Thanks for putting this together

The babybot is my fav. Clean and smart design. Thank you Vandelay for the inspiration.
Awesome. Designing a good ecommerce site is so much different than designing a good web app interface. Thanks for sharing.
The Makr Carry website is outstanding. Actually, the firm who created it: http://wilkiebirdsall.com/ has some damned amazing work. This is clean minimalism done exceedingly well.
Very professional designs. I like ‘Gettington’ and ‘Oak Street Bootmakers’ the most from all designs listed above.
Very nice, clean and professional shops. Custo website is really pleasing as a fashion website.
