how amazing is this article!!! love it:) thank you so much!!
It seems that most horizontal websites are used mainly in portfolio sites. Are there any other sites that utilize the horizontal navigation? I would think that more news and magazine blogs would be interested in horizontal websites. Another question.. would horizontal navigation be used differently in cultures that read from right to left?
Some of these are amazing. Very inspiring. Gave me some thoughts.

I’m not a big fan of the navigation on most of these, but they all have top notch designs. Im a huge fan of any site that uses this style of template design.
Thanks for the list. I can’t wait to design my first horizontal webdesign.
Great roundup!
l like this and so different post. well done
I wonder how this is accepted in a user experience setting. In most cases people feel that scrolling is a bad thing. Especially horizontal scrolling. Vertical scrolling is made easier by mouse wheels. While an interesting design, I always worry about breaking the mold by changing expected user experience elements.
That’s why it’s more common on portfolio sites, because they generally can take more liberties. For a corporate website it would be much more of a usability issue, in my opinion.
New horizontal sites! Always nice to see them. Thanks for sharing.
