Good, but not amazing. Biased list, since some or most are friends of the author.

I’m not sure where you get your information about who my friends are, but the only designers showcased here that I have ever had any contact with are Chris Spooner and Ryan Putnam. That accounts for 3 of the character designs in this post. And they are both widely recognized as very talented designers, so I would hardly say that the list is biased because it includes their work.
Excellent illustrations and drawings many are great and there are many animations that are ideal for decorating children
I think these designers are all very talented – thanks for sharing their work with us. I especially liked the images of inanimate objects. It seems like it takes real imagination and a sense of fun to take an object and turn it into a character, since you don’t really have the basics like a face or eyes or a body to work with. Enjoyed it!
Some of these were really cool and unique character designs, but I felt that others were just out of place and not that groundbreaking. My favorite was the work by Mark Gmehling.

Those are some of the most lovely characterizations I have seen. My designers must learn from this.
I love character design. I think the way that someone can express an emotion in a character is really clever! I liked the coffee and the cookie, even though they both look a bit evil. I liked the man in the ACDC T-shirt and the kid with the earphones too.
I love to see the work of Illustrators! Not all graphic designers can illustrate characters, especially at this level.
The tatooed lady by Jared Nickerson is brilliant it has a real quality look /feel to it.
