corporateriskwatch.com is probably my favourite; probably due to the rollover style for the menu, which is a little bit different. It offers excellent focus, and leaves the visitor in no doubt as to which link the cursor is currently hovering over.
Unfortunately, buuhouse.com is not loading most of the images, or not at all for me at present.
Hmm. It’s not loading for me either. It was last night. I’ll give it a little while before removing it from the list.
Great stuff! Thanks!
Oh, and to add that, I especially like devwp.com, don’t know why…
Excellent list. My favorire is BeingWicked web site!
Lovely sites. I love minimalistic sites done right. It shows that you don’t have to cram your designs for them to look good. Sometimes less is more!
Great Work!

Once again, I don’t get included in the lists… Check out my single-page portfolio site for white minimal using XHTML, CSS, jQuery, sIFR!
Great list! Good source for inspiration.. Thanks!
Another excellent collection! I really love minimalistic designs, they appear to look “simple”, but a lot of thought goes into them.
Wow, wevio is really cool. I’m a real fan of the grayscale, and the details using pngs makes the simplicity really pop.
If you want to be thorough, this series can become The Young and The Restless of web design
But really. Minimalistic design can always be a source of inspiration for a simple reason that it allows everybody to perceive it personally. Also, it allows you as a designer to easier transmit your message.
We have gone a bit further by introducing the imaginary concept of FEETER instead of footer. Without any discrimination, we put web pages in their natural order, on two feet instead of one. This approach fits perfectly with minimalistic web design as the light-weight two-feet pages can move then through the web much faster, strengthened and without any extra burden.
This is a really nice collection of websites here. Love minimalistic design.

I like theme magazines. I just finds that it looks great.
It’s interesting to note how the majority of “minimal” designs are white. I wonder if it’s the colour that makes people perceive it as minimal, or if designers think of the colour white when aiming for minimalism.
Denis,
I think it’s a bit of both. When I’m looking to put these galleries together, the white ones do stand out to me, so it’s partly my own perception. But I think designers that are intentionally going for a clean minimal look will typically go with white.
Hey thank you to have added our website : Koleo. This is really nice when we see people loving our stuff =)
Nice selection, by the way, really useful !
Thanks for sharing this set!
fantastic
Thanks for putting together such a great list! Minimalist web design is one of the hardest to get right and these are some lovely examples.
Great website designs. They are perfect because there not too flashy or bright, which can be very distracting for most people.
love this designs.. its really nice…
Thanks for featuring my site!
these are pretty impressive, i like the koleo site design
I really enjoy these minimalist feature articles, and don’t think it’s as easy to accomplish this sort of design as one might think.
Thanks for the posts!
Great list. Does anyone know who designed the Corporate Risk Watch site?
So glad to see that “less is more” designs coming back into fashion. It also helps that website layouts have a lot more space to work with, thus the increases in white space.
Could you ever imagine so much white space in a 800×600 design?
Really really nice minimalistic website designs!
…Looking forward for part#5!
Maybe one day mine will be on this page too
Regards
I like your use of white space around text and photos – or, in the case of Kyan, turquoise space! I think this design was both striking and clean – my only question is: is a home page with such little content OK for SEO? – Or are backlinks king nowadays?
Very good portfolio!
John,
These websites were not designed by us. It’s just a collection of designs from various designers.
Hi,
I’ve stumble upon your collections looking for inspiration. Thanks, it really put ideas in my head. I always tell people “KISS” Keep It Simple & Short! I love the simplicity and yet it is still eye-catching.
Thanks again for sharing with us.
You have inspired me. Thank you very much. Good luck with your site
These collections are brilliant.
I come back every so often and go through these collections as inspiration and a reminder of how simple works best. We also send the links to clients to provide some ideas for their sites, and find this works well as it shows clients how well a simple, clean, uncluttered design works.
