Introducing Exotico UI Set, Free and Premium Versions

Today we are excited to release an extensive UI set called Exotico. It’s one of the largest UI sets available anywhere and it includes elements for navigation menus, buttons, media players, calendars, sliders, and much more.

The premium set includes 4 PSD files full of UI elements that are ready to be added to your own designs and mockups. You can use this set to drastically speed up the design process, and it helps you to create a stylish and attractive design. Each PSD is layered to allow you to edit each individual resource to suit your own needs. The elements included are previewed in the images below. Please view the detail by clicking on the images to see them in full-size.

The premium set costs just $19 and comes with a multi-use, extended license. Use it on as many projects as you would like, including templates and themes that will be sold or given away. Full license details are available here. And if you’re a Vandelay Premier member you can download Exotico at no additional cost here.

To make the set useful to as many people as possible, we’re also giving away a free version of Exotico that includes just some of the resources. See the bottom of this post for details and a download link.

Is there any giveaway? ;) otherwise I think I need to buy it within the next days. just awesome..

  • Steven Snell, April 26, 2012

    Andre,
We decided to release the free version instead of doing a giveaway. We thought that way everyone would be able to get something for free instead of just a couple people. There may be a giveaway on another design blog(s) but we’re still working that out. If there are any giveaways, if you would happen to win, we would refund your purchase if you had already bought.

Hey Steven, I just found the giveaway on smashinghub. I hope I get it, otherwise I’ll go to buy it after the 4th of may, if the SH giveaway ended. I love this color variation so much – would like to make a design with the whole kit. Thanks anyways and keep up your awesome work. :)

    Hi Andre,
Good luck in the giveaway, and thanks for your compliments on the set.

Thank you for the free version of the Exotico UI set! I’m definitely going to put it to good use. The pink buttons are going to look good on my future website. I’m thinking about using the corner ribbons on a few of my artworks to show the photographer’s name and my name. This set can be used in a variety of ways and I like that. :)

Thanks Denesia, I’m glad it can be of use!

Big UI kit, but the quality is not so good, i know others UI kits, you copy idea from this guys?

    • Steven Snell, April 26, 2012

      Reanimator,
I’m sorry that you are not a fan of the quality. Our feedback from other users has been very good so far. We have been releasing resources like PSDs (including UI sets and other PSDs), brushes, icons, textures, vectors at Vandelay Premier for almost 2 years. We typically don’t post those resources to the blog, although we have a few times in the past with bundles and large products like this one. So my answer is no, I don’t feel like it is copying anyone else.

  • Reanimator, April 26, 2012

Ok, but why you remove my links to other UI Kits from designmodo if you don’t copy idea? :)

    anyway, thanks…

    • Steven Snell, April 26, 2012

      Reanimator,
Generally when you are selling a product it’s not a good practice to have links on the page that lead to similar products being sold elsewhere. If I thought we were copying I wouldn’t have approved the comment at all. I thought it was best to approve the comment but without the links.

  • Adrian, April 27, 2012

@Reanimator i think you are wrong.
I need to say you thanks for your appreciation, but my personal opinion – this is not a copy or plagiarism from our products, this is just a simple concurrent product, and this is very good for all! yes we are first who made this type of packs, i mean biggest, but every client can decide which products to buy (quality, price, quantity etc…)
    competition generates quality …

    @Steven congratulation for this product.

  • Steven Snell, April 27, 2012

    Thanks Adrian.

  • aledesign.it, April 29, 2012

Good stuff! Good choice of colours and design too! I like this version. Thanks for sharing.

  • Think360studio, May 3, 2012

Hello everyone. I totally agree with Adrian, it depends on the web designer that which product he/she has to buy. And it was truly said that competition generates quality. As a designer i really appreciate your work. Thanks for sharing this article.
