flickr is the one for me.
KoffeePhoto provides photo sharing and a neat photo backup feature.
I use flickr and shutterfly
wow, that’s a lot! sheesh… could you explain the advantages of using a photo sharing site for your website or blog, or whatever you wanna call it?
Hi Steven, thanks for this timely and wonderful resource.
I have been looking for more image resources for my blog posts. Kudos and thumbs up!
Awesome list of Photosharing sites Steven. How about Facebook for photo sharing? Flickr is were I host all my pics, but I did play around with Facebook for that as well.
I use Flickr only and I should say that it is the best that I’ve used. I find the photos I used on my blog there as well since they categorize their photos with different CC license.
Your dotPhoto link goes to Phanfare
Great list! Thx a lot
Awesome list . There are many which i havent even heard of . Mainly i try Flickr and Photobucket .
Jansie,
One of the main benefits to using these services is that you aren’t using your own disk space and bandwidth. Another advantage is that some of these services, Flickr especially, have a lot of features and functions that you can easily integrate into your site/blog with little work.
Adam,
I don’t have much experience with Facebook, and I didn’t even think of them. How was your experience with it?
Brad,
Thanks for letting me know about the bad link. It’s fixed now.
And this is probably only 1/10 of the number of photo sharing sites out there!
Yeah, I think you’re right Andrew. I’m kind of amazed that anyone uses those that aren’t the major competitors.
They are doing some great thing. I didn’t have all the links. u gave the list. thanks for that.
Thats useful for me. I was looking for a good list and there it is. Thank you.
Buzznet has been going waaaaay down hill lately, i am going to check out some of the others now. Thanks!

Awesome List but missed out a few Amazing sites like
http://www.pic27.com — Provides Free image hosting service
http://www.uploadhut.com — Upload files
Anyone heard about http://www.photogiga.com ?
There’s also http://www.yetanotherimagehost.com/ who give free hosting for up to 15 images
I think you can add Joomeo (http://www.joomeo.com) to this impressive list.
For me, probably the best “soft like” web based online photo sharing website.
There is a new photo sharing site @ http://www.theeasyview.com It’s surprisingly simple and easy to use. You can conveniently upload, store, and share all your photos on the site. It has an auto image gallery in which you can place text descriptions to each photo as well as adding security passwords for each album or profile link. Give it a try. I did and I love it!
