35 Excellent Church Websites – Part Two
Published December 17th, 2008 in DesignSeveral months ago I published 50 of the Best Church Websites, which has been one of the more popular posts on the blog. Since I published that collection I’ve come across many other noteworthy church sites, so I thought I would add a second post on the topic.

Nice update to a great list. Really inspiring.
Just when I think I’m becoming a pretty decent church web site designer, you go and post a list of such awesomeness… I’m humbled! Thanks for sharing – I have much to learn!
wow.. great designs. God will be proud.
Perfect timing! Within the next week or so, I am going to begin a mockup of a redesign for my church, http://www.paradisechurchlv.com. Thanks for the resource.
great collection thank you for share..
These are a great Inspiration! I am no longer a church going person. These website have a strong scene of community and togetherness that is excellent to draw from. Thank you

very good.thank you…
Nice! Saw a few Joomla web sites in there as well. Overall they all look superb compared to most.
We are a small to medium church in need of a new website — this list and your first list has been a great resource for us as we decide what we want the site to look like. Thank you!
Wow! Great update to the first 50 that you had! Also check out http://www.cypressvineyard.org
If I may make a suggestion: http://www.fbchammond.com. They got a new website up just a few months ago, and it is a tremendous website. Has a lot of resources, the design is very crisp, clean, and professional, and also includes a mobile website, which they just released on January 1 (m.fbchammond.com).
Please take a look at it, and see if it is worth mentioning in your next article.
Another great church website: http://olivebaptist.org
Just redesigned and it looks great.

GREAT DESIGNS
I’m writing a church website, and remembering this awesome post I naturally came here for inspiration. I hadn’t noticed before that nearly every single example has a dynamic rather than a static homepage.
Thinking realistically about my clients’ staffing and level of technological confidence, I’m sadly waiting for someone to post a new gallery: Beautiful church websites with static homepages.
Very good.
Great designs.
These are great ideas for the website (http://lacosechacr.org/) and blog (http://lacosechacr.org/blog) of my church.
Bye
Also check out my church’s site: http://www.cbtb.org.au
What about http://www.lds.org?
Nice design and typography.
What you can’t see on this web site is the massive members list. To honor privacy… an entire section was added that only members can see after being approved by a church deacon or pastor. It is a web ministry to those searching for a church home as well as those already regularly attending Timber Ridge. I really love our site and find it to be a very useful tool!
Hey everyone! If your interested in Christian or Church websites you might want to visit http://bestchristiandesign.com. It’s a new web gallery launched this week, showcasing the best Christian websites from around world!
Please feel free to submit a site and stay in touch with our blog!
These designs are really good. They attract/remind the faithful to pay their churches a visit plus other benefits. But If all churches would be required to have one, then in the near future, would most church services be availed at the comfort of our homes? At least those that don’t require physical contact. Just a thought.
