Win a Free Premium Theme from Templamatic
Published September 16th, 2008 in CompetitionA few months ago we gave away a free license to a premium WordPress theme, and today the opportunity for Vandelay Design blog readers to get a free theme is back! Templamatic has offered to give away three copies of it’s recently-released theme, With Style.
If you’re not familiar with Templamatic, it is a marketplace for a variety of premium themes and templates. Currently the site includes WordPress themes as well as HTML and CSS templates, with some other additions possibly on the way in the near future.
Designers and developers can upload and sell their themes at Templamatic for 65% commission on the sale. Buyers have a number of options as there are almost 30 templates/themes currently for sale.
The theme that is up for grabs, With Style, is designed by Maleika Attawel and it features an artistic and textured look. It normally sells for $50. You can get a preview of the theme at Templamatic.
If you want to be one of the lucky winners, simply leave a comment on this post stating why you would like the theme or what you would use it for. Be sure to leave a valid email address where I can contact you. The winners will be chosen Thursday evening (in the U.S.), so get your comments in before then.

Wow….This is a wonderful theme. I would definitely use it for my husband’s blog, because his blog is lacking the kind of attention it wants.
Alright, I admit it. I’d like to use this for personal reasons. Maybe that’s selfish. But I’m trying to start a career in design, having trouble finding a job, and I think a blog would look REALLY cool to employers if linked to my portfolio!

We just got contracted to do a lot of work for a south african aid agency, I would use the theme to document the trip etc and show people how to get involved.
With Style is A real handsome design that concentrates on the Blog message without blasting the reader with unrelated ads.
Once their attention is gained they have to scroll all the way down through the previous postings to use any of the site navigation indexes.
Very nice design and I can think of several product sites that I could use this on.

Sweet design. I will the theme for a new green website I’m about to design. With some minor color changes, it would fit perfectly.
I would use it to launch my portfolio for after I graduate, to impress employers and help give me a kick start into the design industry

What a nice little contest.. thanks Steven! I would actually use it for our chiropractor’s website. You see, years ago, my hubby used a lamo template for our chiro’s site, and I didn’t realize until recently that he but my link at the bottom.
It’s horrendous looking and desperately needs a makeover. If that’s not reason enough… when you google my site name, it’s one of the first designed sites to show up. sigh.

This is a well-designed theme. I wouldn’t mind using it for my site. It’s unfortunate I hadn’t found it sooner. It’s not too dark… just the right amount of contrast. I typically prefer very light web site themes and design, so this is a theme that pulls off a nice compromise.

I’ve been considering WP-Remix for a large site on Cyborg Anthropology. I’ve been collecting resources, papers, and individuals in the industry for a period of 4 years and am researching a method with which to adequately present them online.
I’ve been using WordPress for a few years and would like to take my current site to a new level. I’ve also used Drupal, but it would be great to have a resource site that has theories and success patterns that could help others succeed online. This template looks like a great one to have fun with.

I would use it to move my personal web site ( http://www.michaelclark.name ) away from its ancient table-based layout into a CSS based layout. Luckily I’ve already moved a lot of the site into WordPress.

I use my current theme since I started the blog on New Year.
This theme is similar style to my current theme.
Big date on the left, footer widget, 2-column, right-sidebar.
but It’s still refreshing to change the theme.
although it’s similar but I love this style so I want it! (Is it called grunge style?)

I would like to get premium template because as always I haven’t got enough time to create my own and I am not really so good at it. I want to start new blog for my school-mates, so we could easily exchange infromation about lessons, problems – to create somewhat similar community site but just for our course for now.
