Fortunately, there are a number of great places to find these types of positions. In this post we’ll look at 40 sites that include specialized job boards that include web/graphic design and web development opportunities.

A very active job board used by a lot of recognized and respected agencies. Includes freelance and full-time opportunities.
Smashing Jobs
Smashing Magazine’s job board includes positions throughout the world for design and development.
Krop
Krop has a very active job board that usually has a number of new jobs each day. The positions are mostly for web design, but there are some development jobs as well.
Coroflot
Coroflot’s job board typically has a number of new listings each day in a variety of design disciplines, including graphic design.

Freelance Switch

Have always found TheITJobBoard a great source of jobs.
I used Xemion back when it was Mashed Jobs. That site is a one stop shop for all web jobs!

Great info thanks, some of them I’ve not come across before.
Just an update for the freelancing section, another one you can add is Scriptlance.com (if you’re a developer).
Incase it’s useful to anyone, I’ve been working on a project called imnosy.com which alerts you via email when specific web pages are updated. This can be pretty useful if you set it to alert you of job/career pages for companies you’re interested in.
